Susan serves of counsel in our P.I.P. litigation department. Based out of our firm’s Tampa office, Susan works on behalf of medical providers in their efforts to pursue underpayment and wrongful denials of insurance claims.
Susan earned a B.S. degree from Florida State University, and her J.D. degree with Honors from the University of Florida College of Law where she received the Book Award in Legal Drafting, served as a Teaching Assistant in Appellate Advocacy and Legal Research and Writing, and was awarded a Trial Advocacy Scholarship for winning a written competition. Throughout her legal career, Susan has focused her practice primarily on insurance litigation, serving as counsel for both plaintiff and defense. Even before becoming an attorney, Susan worked as an insurance adjuster handling worker’s compensation and bodily injury claims and then went to work for a large personal injury firm, which is where she decided to pursue her law degree. Susan’s experience handling cases both for and against insurance companies has afforded her the ability to represent clients from the onset of their case until its conclusion, via litigation or settlement
